Refund Policy

We want every K-Star Hub subscriber to feel safe. This page explains exactly what happens with your money — no fine print buried elsewhere.

TL;DR

  • 24-hour free trial — no card required.
  • Monthly $3.99 charges are non-refundable after the trial ends.
  • Exception: if a system fault on our side blocks usage, we refund the unused portion when you ask within 7 days.
  • Cancel anytime. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing cycle.

1. Free Trial

Every new account gets 24 hours of full Pro access without payment. No credit card is taken during the trial. When the 24 hours end, your account stays free forever — you only pay if you choose to subscribe.

2. Monthly Subscription — Non-Refundable

Once you subscribe to Pro at $3.99/month, the charge is non-refundable for the period it covers. This includes situations where you forgot to cancel, didn't use the service much that month, or changed your mind. We keep this strict so we can keep prices low — case-by-case refunds at scale would mean raising the base price for everyone.

3. Exception — System Fault on Our Side

If our service is broken (digests not generating, site unreachable for hours, scripts unusable due to a bug we caused) and you couldn't get value during your billing period, email teddyan35@gmail.com within 7 days of the issue. We'll prorate a refund for the affected days. We act in good faith here and respond within 48 hours.

4. Cancellation

Hit Cancel in your Account settings any time. Pro features stay active until the end of your current billing cycle, then your account drops to free. No phone calls, no retention pop-ups, no fees.

5. Chargebacks

Please email us first before filing a chargeback with your card issuer — we resolve almost everything within 24 hours. Chargebacks cost us bank fees and slow legitimate refunds for everyone, so accounts with disputed chargebacks may lose Pro eligibility.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in effect on the day you subscribed. Material changes are emailed to active subscribers at least 14 days in advance.
